Frequently asked questions

Do I need any MATLAB experience before starting?

No. Sessions start from MATLAB fundamentals, scripts and syntax, if that's where you are, and build up from there.

Do you teach Simulink as well as MATLAB scripting?

Yes. Simulink block diagram modelling and control system design are covered alongside script-based MATLAB, since most modules use both.

Is this available to international students?

Yes. Sessions are online, arranged around your time zone, with early or late slots available where needed.

Can I book just one session to start?

Yes. There's no registration fee and no requirement to commit to a series. Book a single session first if you'd rather try it before going further.

Does online tuition work as well as in person for MATLAB and Simulink?

For most students, yes: screen-sharing a script, plot or Simulink model is arguably better than looking at it on a laptop between two people. In-person sessions are still available if you're local and prefer them.
