Frequently asked questions

Will you write or fix my code?

We teach, review and give feedback. We do not write, code or produce any part of work that a student submits for assessment, and we will decline any request to do so.

Can you help with just one chapter or one debugging session?

Yes. A single review session is available alongside the full-term supervision block.

Do you work with students from any UK university?

Yes. Sessions run online, so we work with students from any UK university, not just one.

What does a block of sessions cost?

£300 for a 5-session block.

What if my supervisor asks how I got help?

We're glad to be named. We teach, review and give feedback, and the submitted work stays yours.

Does online supervision work as well as meeting in person?

For most students, yes: screen-sharing your report, code or bench setup works well for debugging and review sessions, and it's the only option for students outside Birmingham and London anyway. If you'd rather meet in person and you're local, that's available too.
